For the longest time I've felt that I should go back over some of my previous works, during the first few weeks of me being a member of this wondrous site, and give them an update to bring them up to my current level of artistic skill that has evolved over my time on Deviantart. Like I did with my first Omnitrix alien OC - the first of many - Phobos , I decided to go back and freshen up another favorite of mine, this time from my latest fanfiction, "Once Upon a Tennyson, a Ben 10/Ever After High crossover sequel to my Ben 10/Monster crossover, "We Are Monsters". This guy was originally thought up by the always helpful and thoughtful Isom , so kudos to you!

Onto the facts!

Name: Jigsaw

Species: Dodgjierian

Home Planet: Carrillam XIII

Powers/Abilities: Jigsaw's main power is the ability to manipulate the world around as if it were a slapstick cartoon. This allows him to paint tunnels and doors and walk right through them where others would simply faceplant against a wall, survive multiple gags and tricks such as falling anvils or self detonation, and squash and stretch his body and environment beyond that of what other species are capable of. This grants them a sense of near indestructibility.

When in combat, Dodgjierians secrete a pheromone from the pods on their wrists that affect the left prefrontal, temporal, parietal cortex of the brain, consequently lowering their intelligence levels so that they are more likely to fall for their otherwise ridiculous and comedic gags.

Jigsaw wears a mask that obscures his face, thus leaving his true identity unknown. Since Dodjierians obey a different set of laws of physics and reality than that of the rest of the universe, should the mask be removed one will either find another mask beneath or something else of seemingly random choice. Jigsaw can keep this up near indefinitely before running out of masks and, should he so choose to or otherwise come to the unlikely result of running out of masks, be capable of shifting his features into that of a horrific monster to hide his true appearance.

Jigsaw is quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat and is highly proficient with a sword, often using the cane Ben is giving upon transforming as a highly effective weapon. As if that weren't enough, Jigsaw is capable of unscrewing the top to release a myriad of useful and unusual objects and props for his purposes, including a bouquet of exploding flowers, a rubber chicken, a grappling hook, and is even able to use the cane as a gun (despite lacking any trigger or bullets).

Weaknesses: Dodjierians are incapable of altering reality and the universe as a whole in any drastic matter, like Celestialsapiens can.

Dubbed Vestibulum stultitia, Jigsaw's gas doesn't affect highly intelligent species such as Cerebrocrustaceans and Galvans as much as it would with other species, only lowering their intelligence down to that of the most intelligent human scientists. Likewise, rather dim species like Appoplexians are completely immune to the gas in the first place.

Jigsaw's top hat is very precious to him, almost to the point of it being completely ridiculous. Should it be ruined/destroyed, knocked off his head, or even touched, he will utter the line "Of course you realize this means war" and absolutely lose it until his hat is placed back on his head, attacking everything and everyone in sight with almostgod-like strength and capabilities regardless of whether they are his allies or enemies.

Jigsaw is vulnerable to Grinning Tulgeline's - their natural predator - such as Seducire .

Etymology: His species name, Dodgjierian, comes from Lewis Carroll's, the author of Alice in Wonderland, real name.

Trivia: His home plant is named after Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice in Wonderland.

Jigsaw's design and appearance is an obvious reference to the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Other inspirations include Saw from the franchise of the same name, Dr. Facilier from Disney's The Princess and the Frog, Jhin from League of Legends, and various cartoon characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck from the Looney Tunes cartoons.

His catchphrase is also used by Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes.

Life on Carrillam XIII is forever chaotic and can only be described as a constant squash and stretch cartoon on steroids. The landscape is always changing without rhyme or reason, the sky and seas will randomly change color, and gigantic mushrooms, tiny trees, and bright colors are not uncommon in the nature of the planet. In fact, Carrillam XIII main source of income comes from the entertainment industry where most Dodgjierians make a living by producing programs similar to that of cartoons for young children. This has gotten to the point where some Dodjierians will willingly risk their lives to be chased by a Grinning Tulgeline and their various subspecies, all in the name of entertainment.

Despite their similarities to the Mad Hatter, a character who is well known for being nonsensical and constantly being surrounded by overflowing kettles and pots and cups of tea, Dodjierians have actually never tasted tea at all; they'd most likely find it disgusting anyway and would more than likely prefer brightly colored and bubbling sodas.

Political terms on Carrillam XIII last the exact length of one-thousand-eight-hundred-twenty 'unbirthdays', roughly five years on Earth. How candidates are chosen for their terms is through a series of card and chess games where the final two contestants must compete in a game of explosive croquet where they must score the most points, king the other player, and draw a winning hand all at the exact same time in order to win. If neither candidate wins, whoever can take on an entire Grinning Tulgeline pack and come out unscathed (they're definition of 'unscathed' is much different than anyone elses) wins the election.

Madeline Hatter has a particular interest in Jigsaw and may have a crush on him.
