Greetings, citizens of the omniverse! I hope you all had a happy holidays and I hope you have a wonderful new year - you know we all need one after this one.

Enough beating around the bush. We have another entry for 's personal Ben 10 Reboot! Now, it's been on my agenda (no, you cannot see it) to, at some point, make a Lenopan transformation and it's honestly something that I think the show really missed out on. A lot of fans have wanted to see Ben get one and I would have to agree with them, especially with a Lenopan's versatile and unique set of skills. Fortunately, thewalrusclown agrees and I can finally cross it off my list (which you still can't see).

Onto the facts!

Name: Sludgehammer

Species: Lenopan

Home World: Lenopa

Powers/abilities: Sludgehammer can stretch, morph and shape-shift his body in any way, shape, or form at will, as well as changing its color and texture. He can reattach his body parts by sticking them back on if he loses them, and if they are disembodied, his pieces will instinctively come together again and reconstitute him.

Lenopans can shapes-shift their body parts, and sometimes themselves into other objects. Using their sludge, they can look like another shape made of purple sludge, while they can still move while in liquid form. Their ability to mimic color and texture allow them to mimic flesh or fabric exactly. They can also shape-shift into non-existent or imaginary species complete with unique abilities. They even can morph their body parts into melee weapons.

A Lenopan's liquid body can be gelatinous akin to a large mass of muscle, which allows tangibility and the ability to be mobile. Their bodies can generate slime and shoot masses of it like adhesive projectiles. Their normal, slimy form is dense and adhesive enough to trap other creatures in themselves. This form also gives them the capability to go underground indefinitely.

Weaknesses: Due to his gelatinous nature, Sludgehammer is weak against electricity, such as that generated by stun batons or conducted by electricity-producing species, such as Nosedeenians and Amperi.

Lenopans are vulnerable to being immobilized if exposed to strong temperatures, whether it be too cold or too hot.

Sludgehammer can only shapeshift as large as his mass allows.

While Lenopans are able to skillfully mimic the appearance of other species, they are not necessarily capable of copying their unique abilities and powers. For instance, if a Lenopan were to morph themselves into a Pyronite, they would not be able to produce fire or heat, nor would they be able to fly.

Lenopans are vulnerable to their natural predator, the Bahktreen Olqoswoid, and in a similar manner, are vulnerable to being turned into smoothies by Roebekampus Multipedes.

Etymology: Sludgehammer's name is a portmanteau of the words "sludge", referring to his mud-like appearance, and "sledgehammer", which alludes to his amorphous nature.

Trivia: The species' name derives from that of their home planet, Lenopa.

It is unknown what the species' home planet (and therefore, their name) could be an allusion to, as is typical among the Ben 10 franchise.

Lenopans are a hostile species that seem to have little reason for all the trouble that they cause, other than that of their own amusement. As a result, they expect whomever they prank or make a fool of to play along with their shenanigans and seem to react with genuine bafflement when they receive a negative or hostile response; that, or they just don't care. In fact, this is what sparked the decades long feud between them and the Plumbers organization, after they repeatedly went to great lengths to undo all of the hard work the Plumbers had done in order to maintain peace throughout the galaxy. This eventually culminated into a full-scale war when one individual impersonated a Plumber Magister and led a class of Plumber cadets to their collective death, only to respond with the infamous phrase "it's just a prank, bro". Hostilities were ceased and the war finally came to an end after the marriage of Plumber Joel Tennyson and Lenopan Camille Mann.

Despite having reached a truce, many Lenopans still feel that the Plumbers take themselves too seriously and make it a point to undermine their authority whenever possible, with some going so far as to resort to criminal behavior.

Lenopans are renown for their ability to shape-shift and a few individuals have used this to achieve intergalactic fame by assuming various forms in an artistic fashion. It is also this ability that makes them highly desirable as spies.

In spite of their abilities, Lenopans are not great actors by nature, though most, such as Deefus Veeblepister, will insist otherwise. By comparison, Lucy Mann is a much better actor than him and most of her species, mostly due to having been brought up and living with humans.

Lenopans don't have much advanced technology due to the nature of their planet, and in fact typically get around the galaxy by buying their way or sneaking onto various cruisers that pass by their home system. Otherwise, they are relatively low-tech and typically live in villages that consist of underground dwellings distinguished by tower-like mounds, which prevent rising tides from flooding the burrows.

Lenopa is one of those rare planets in the universe that exists in what is known in scientific circles as the Goldilocks Zone, meaning it is precisely the right distance from the star around which it orbits so that the planet is not too hot, not too cold, but just right. However, the planet's thick atmosphere, which is primarily composed of carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor, causes a global greenhouse effect which has led to high sea levels and a warm, humid climate that leaves much of Lenopa's surface covered in shallow seas surrounded by brackish swamps and marshes. In certain places close to volcanic activity however, much of the land is covered in pits of bubbling tar and mud that exude toxic fumes poisonous to much of Lenopa's native life.
