Because Snake Eyes is one of my many raving obsessions~
I know that there's this unfortunate canon about Snake Eyes and Scarlett being a couple. Now, before anyone tries to hate on me for saying that, I'm really not trying to bash any of you SE/S fans; I know there's like a million of you out there, but I simply don't share your enthusiasm is all.
Besides, I just thought it was funny how in Resolute there was the hinting of a Duke/Scarlett canon which made me laugh. Again, no offense to all you SE/S shippers, but as far as I'm concerned Duke can have Scarlett. In my humble opinion, Snake Eyes belongs to the fans!

People are of course entitled to their own opinion and I'm not bashing on anyone that has a pairing they like better, but i find some people don't actually know that Snake Eyes and Scarlett are an official/canon pairing in the traditional comic G.I. Joe stories. I know some of these animated series and movies have either hinted at them being together and sometimes hints at Scarlett being attracted to someone else, but SE/S is still canon. They even got engaged.
Again, everyone is entitled to their own preference though.

Im a big SE/S fan but resolute was so fan tucking tastic I was willing to pass it if they did a whole series on it. THAT was how G.I Joe was suppose to be since the 80's with the pew pew and shit. Cobra Commander should be THAT evil bad ass that will slit your throat if you piss him off. The Joe team should be well trained military bad asses and unlike the Sigma 6 on 4 kids they should aim to kill like they do here. Snake Eyes especially made me feel like SQUEEE!!!. Oh and idk I gave up on a Cannon G.I Joe I mean for god sakes how many backgrounds can you give to snake eyes...FAWK!
G.I movie: vow of silence after his masters death.
G.I Resolute: shot through the throat
G.I Renegade: throwing star through the throat.
G.I comics: burned face and other stuff.

Resolute was absolute CRAP! Scarlett is the Intelligence Officer, so you'd think just one iota of it would tell her to ditch the flamer who gave her an ultimatum. You wouldn't hear Snake Eyes say that to her

In Rise of Cobra or Resolute? Either way, I loved him in both! I think Ray Park did an excelent job as Snake Eyes in the live action, and it's pretty hard to mess up Snake Eyes being a raging badass in an animated film!
