At last! It's done! I took me over a year, duh.
I'm pretty glad I can finally move on to other stuff now, and I can say I'll never undertake something that big ever again!
And yes I know the type is unreadable at this size. The original PS file is 1.3Gb (and takes ages to open, update, save) and the flattened .jpg at full resolution is 48Mb. Please send a note (or an e-mail to crooty_at_champignon.ch) with your e-mail address if you want a personal copy and I'll send you a DropBox link to download it. A

As a fan of the Belgariad and Malloreon books, and just starting to read them again, I was really delighted to find such a beautiful, detailed and colorful map of the lands to refer to. I'm now Watching "Crooty" and look forward to any further artwork that might be forthcoming

Amazing job on that - congratulations on the DD. I've never read the book(s?) - thought from
the names they were some new re-discovered Tolkien manuscripts. I guess they must be great
books for you to spend so long on the maps

Actually they were among the first fantasy books I read in the late 90s and I loved them then.
When I re-read them 4 years ago to do this map, I didn't love them as much. A little too repetitive and predictable.

I don't read a lot of fantasy but my favourite books are Jack Vance's Dying Earth and Lyonesse series and Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun stuff.
