During the events of Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter II

Gwenpool was searching a way to get into Taskmaster’s international tournament, in order to rescue her Capcom fiancee (Jake Mueller) from Shadaloo and HYDRA. The only option she got was stealing an invitation from Karin Kanzuki, knowing that Karin would give her a chance to fight for it if she was ever caught. Karin caught her in the act, but gave her said chance, but she was more than willing to beat Gwenpool to a pulp because Karin knew that Sakura was going to be present in the finals.

This is an homage to Capcom, Udon Comics and Marvel Comics, hoping that some of them see this and reconsider the rumored (inexistent) upgrade about Marvel vs Capcom 4, and give the franchise a last chance.
