Description Random impulses led to this. Our first unit in English is Poe, and if we go through the entire thing without reading The Raven I will pull pig teeth out until the world goes deaf from their squealing. Honestly.

This looks like it has more detail than it really possesses, I believe. It was just a quickie. I didn't know what to do in Photoshop, and the Cask of Amontillado was bothering the hell out of me because that one flew past my head. After reading it. Twice. XDDD;;; Eheheheh.

Though that other one we read was quite interesting, too bad I can't quite remember the title. Something about True and Hearts and stuff. The one where the narrator is insane and kills the old man with the vulture eye that he hates so much. I liked that one.

Mmmgaarrrrgh. I'm going to bed.

Hey, this really reminded me of Jasper Morello. [link]
...Maybe it's just the silhouette look...but I like this.

I don't know. I really don't know.

But seriously, how could we go through the unit without the Raven???

Nice!!! I like it!

Poe is my absolute favorite author. Beleive me, there's no way you can get through a Unit on Poe and not read either The Raven or The Pit and the Pendulum.

And for the other one that's evading you, it's The Tell-Tale Heart. Awesome story.

And awesome picture. Faved.

So far we've done (in order of assignment) The Tell-Tale Heart, The Cask of Amontillado, and Hop-Frog. I don't know where we're going next. I know somewhere buried in my room is the Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe that I snatched from my brother when he left for college. I need to find that.

Right on, probably "Red Mask of Death" or "Fall of the House of Usher" or something. Wish we had a Poe Unit my my class. We did Shakespeare. >_< and watch Mel Gibson try to portray Hamlet. I stress TRY.

Really? I haven't seen any Hamlet movies (well, apart from the Lion King) so I can't say anything.

That's rather sad. Hamlet and Macbeth have always been one of my favorites.

Shakespeare comes later in my class. We're doing Romeo and Juliet.

The Lion King? I want to see all of Macbeth, I didn't even get to read it. I probably would have liked it better. I didn't really like Hamlet because I thought the dialogue was too flowery, even for Shakespeare. But that's cool.

8D I like it but...

...I was never a fan of Poe. Dude was weird. And this poem made me cry due to the multiple essays we were forced to write...

Er... NICE PICTURE! ;

Weird? As in, "I've lost count of the characters he's buried six feet under concrete?"

We all have different tastes...

8D Pretty much. x3

Yes...but I think I have "weird" tastes... I hated Romeo and Juliet. Made me laugh too hard to take serious. And dont get me STARTED with Of Mice and Men! (Steinback.............LOL)
