It had all happened so fast.

We were walking along a cobblestone pathway, the bright sun beating down on us as we laughed joyfully, appreciating the cool sensation of the smooth vanilla ice-cream we had just bought.

The birds were singing the most beautiful songs, and the city was bustling with life and excitement… which is probably why we weren’t expecting to hear a thunderous roar growing steadily louder behind us.

I had turned around just in time to see the cascade of rushing feet about to come down upon us, blocking out the sunlight.
It had been so painful. I was trying to get away but I kept getting kicked and thrown about.

By the time it had all stopped, I had tried to move. I had to make sure he was okay. But everything was all blurry and then it all faded into darkness and I don’t know what happened.

But when I awoke, all that remained of my friend was a dirty red cape that had once been his most prized possession.
I crawled my way over to it and picked it up. Why had this happened? I still don’t know the answer.

That was over a day ago now. I’ve been search restlessly for him. I decided to tie his cape around my neck, so I wouldn’t lose it as well, and began on my search.

While asking around someone had suggested that I make up a lost poster and put his picture on it, so that if anyone saw him they’d recognize him. It was a great idea, and I had managed to find an old picture I had of him and got some help to get it put on some paper. After getting a few copies printed off, I started on my way.

I had been putting the posters up all over the place and was down to my last one.

It was then that I came across a blue little bear sitting near a tree in the park. He seemed sad, even with the smile on his face. I made my way up to him and asked if he had seen my friend, but he sat there motionless, not even blinking.

Defeated, I slumped to the ground and sat there holding the poster up to him, and started talking to him, even though I knew he would never answer back.

“I lost my best friend yesterday… It’s all my fault, too… I’m the one who wanted to go on this trip around the world. I should have looked after him more carefully… What if I never find him?”

Looking up at the blue bear, I was answered with an unmoving smile.

“Though I don’t suppose you’d be able to help me, would you?”

I was about to get up and leave to put the poster up when a shout made me stop and look over. A small boy was running towards me, looking excited, before scooping the little blue bear up happily and giving it a hug.

“There you are!! I thought I had lost you! Don’t scare me like that again!” He glanced down and noticed me, “Oh! Hello there, may I ask you a question?”

I blinked, “Um, of course.”

“Are you Fella?”

Astonished, I didn’t quite know what to say at first, but then a thought popped into my mind, “Ah! Do you know where Super Llama is?”
He gave me a really big grin, and replied with the best news I had heard all day.

“Yup!”

Wow that ended up being longer than I planned, but anyway!! C: This is my entry for the Fella Around The World Contest!!

(THE WIND WAS SO ANNOYING. I dunno how many times that piece of paper either slapped the poor blue bear in the face, or had me chasing it through the yard like a crazy person.)

No adventure is without its mishaps, but if you never give up trying, you'll make it through!

Okay Ima shut up now.

The bottom is kind of hard to read because of the grass. It says "Reward: 50,000 points"
