EnglishDedicated to all people who disable comments on their deviations...anf therefore restrain our freedom of speech.........Nah, just joking
, it is known that a lot of hyena deviants are walking around there, waiting the good occasion to scrap your art and all the stuff, so disabling comments can spare you a lot of inconveniences. 
Maybe I should disable comments on this stamp....

, c'est un secret pour personne que certaines personnes n'attendent qu'une occasion pour venir deverser leur fiel sur vos deviations, desactiver les commentaires vous epargne certainement beaucoup de desagrements. Peut-etre que je devrais moi aussi desactiver les commentaires sur ce stamp.....

If there's anything I don't like, it's the deviants who purposely upload things that are highly offensive to some people and then disable comments so that they don't have to listen when people complain about it.
Other than that, though, I can see why disabling comments would help in reducing trolling on your stuff. I've had to disable comments on a few of my things before for reasons like that.

I sometimes get a bit annoyed, when all people can muster up as a comment is 'cool'. Come to think of it, I might even start disabling comments.

These are the following functions that are broken and do not work on my computer:
-Disable Comments
-Block List
-Report Deviant
-Report Deviation
-Hide Comment
The only time I've actually hid a comment was when I double posted, that was it. But really though, I just feel that using any of these features is a sign of being thin-skinned and easily butthurt by simple words or pictures.

i agree; if you don't want feedback or opinions, why host your work on a public site? if you like something enough to post it, get over the people that might not like it or gtfo

Exactly. It isn't so much a matter of disagreement either, but also over these so called "kawaii desu" and "Nice Lightning" comments that people may get, or even the sheer numbers of "Fav n' runs". I don't expect people to come around and kiss my ass just because I can draw a picture or write a poem. Besides, the internet has always had trolls/griefers/troublemakers/and what not, and Deviant Art isn't any different.

i don't disable comments, but i know a stamp artist who does and gets irritated when people comment on her front page or send her notes because the actual deviation has disabled comments
i hate when they HAVE to say something!

I don't get upset when comments are disabled and I wanted to say something, but I do think, "douchebag..." and move on. I probably won't fave it, and yes I probably will think less of you. I'll think you need a thicker skin.
It's mildly irritating that someone would bother to post something publicly and then disallow the whole social nature of the site just to avoid some stupid trolls.

It's not just for negative comments... I've disabled comments on some of my more popular fanart pieces because after 100 or so "Lol this is cool" comments, I don't want any more.

...sort of kidding. There are always occasions where disabling comments is needed but the VAST majority of the time it's just used by idiots who don't like it when people tell them that their opinion is ignorant and ridiculous.

As I never disabled any comments on any of my works, I'd say that i don't support the disabling at 100%. However, I thought it could be helpful, otherwise fun, for other deviants, to have a fun stamp to play with.
