Description
The Mothmen are a branch of temporary entities, spawned from human blood. Their exact nature and purpose is unknown, but it is theorised that like actual Moths which are attracted to light, Mothmen are attracted to death. And as such are often seen occasionaly around communities and particular areas before tragedy occurs. After that, they vanish. At this point it is still not clear if their lifespan or purpose ceases or if they move onto a new location.
From the brief encounters that have been made with these creatures, it seems that they are more animal-like, but their humanoid appearance delivers an impression of sentience. However, judging from appearances only it is extremely difficult to determine their intelligence. Communication between these creatures is minimal, despite the fact they scare any witnesses beyond comprehension they seem to be incapable of speech. But they can vocalise a series of scream-like screeches that bears resemblence to human females.
The idea has been moved forward that their forms of communication exceed anything that our five feeble senses are able to register or understand.
