Description
The Martian Flying Machine was built to traverse through our planet's heavy atmosphere. They lack more effective weaponry but make up for it with their nimble and agile movements, making them harder targets for the human artillary.
Of course these machines were most used after the conquering of Earth (Marked by the defeat of the Thunderchild ironclad).

Thanks to for the beautifully produced modelled recreations which I used for referencing. I suggest you go check them, and his other War of the Worlds work out ^_^

The Flying machines were only referenced in the original novel, but were given major roles as Martian enemies in the War of the Worlds game based of Jeff Waynes muical.
These machines were also featured in Jeff's live shows of the musical, but even their they only make cameos.
