This is Mayquinn Byun! She's a college student in her mid 20s, and Lennan's assigned soulmate! She's actually been around since the very beginning of the story, but I always neglect her because it's hard to make a human character interesting when their costars are a demon and an angel ^^""

But she's still an important part of the story, so I've been working on focusing on her more and fleshing her out recently!! Here's a very brief summary of her situation in relation to the plot!:

All angels are eventually assigned a soulmate in the form of a human who's about to die and be sent to Heaven. The only catch is, the angel must be the first person their soulmate sees after their scheduled death and guide them to the afterlife for the whole system to work. But when it was his time, Lennan felt that watching your soulmate die right in front of you before you're linked for eternity was a bit sadistic, so he decided to indefinitely postpone Mayquinn's death. This means that, for as long as she doesn't have a scheduled death-date, Mayquinn is physically unable to die. Unless a demon gets to her or Lennan's superiors find out, that is. So, with the help of a near-equally rebellious demon, Lennan must protect Mayquinn from demons and angels alike, unbeknownst to her, while he slowly realizes just how big of a mess he created. Especially after Mayquinn survives multiple near-death experiences and starts to suspect that something strange, maybe even paranormal, is going on.
