Shou hadn't realized he was beginning to grow, nor did he realize that being in the forest when you're not accustomed to it results in you getting a little sick. But it was fine! He felt well enough to give a short visit to Leo, the other boy having been growing as well.
Shou was so happy they were making progress! He had even gotten the feral's name! So Leo could speak.. it was just hard.
So excited to hang out with his newly made friend, he maybe pushed himself a little too hard and began to cough. It was small, not something someone would race you to the doctor for. But when he turned to look at Leo, the feral was staring at him with some weird expression..
Like he just died in front of him.
Shou tried to explain his cough but the feral quickly rushed to him, sniffing him way too closely before disappearing. Before he could even push himself up to leave, the feral reappeared with a branch of.. medicinal herbs? Where had he gotten those?
There wasn't much he could do as the feral laid on him, pushing his weight on his legs to keep him in place and holding the leaves close to his face.
And when he refused to eat them despite Leo's pleading whines, the feral wouldn't even let him leave!
He'd yank his tail or nip his legs, only to whine in response to his questioning and pull him back to the forest.

Seriously, what was wrong with Leo and being a little sick? It's not like he's dying or anything...

He'll try to find a way to reassure the feral that he's fine, but he really has to get home. Those parents of his have been really angry lately..
