Dead Rising 2 is coming out soon, and I'm STILL drawing the Original Dead Rising crew. XD What's wrong with me? I need to draw Chuck Greene! I need to draw Leon Bell!They're the Dead Rising 2 version of Frank and Kent!
Anyways. A Classic.

Y'know. I never realized till now how much darker colored Frank was compared to Kent.
I like how Frank came out. :3 Kent was pretty tough to draw here.

HNNNG WHA BUT OKAY you asked for a comment on this thang so here it is. Ahem ahem...
Picture, first off, I really really like. The lineart is something I keep having to look back at, because it's great. I think you do an AMAZING job with it, especially considering you use a mouse and do those lines slowly, tediously, ONE AT A TIME. It must be exhausting! Have you ever told your watchers that you don't use a tablet? It would knock 'em off their feet. I told my watchers a couple times and everybody always so astonished. Haha! Here's to mouse artists everywhere!
A more defined lightsource would make this picture a lot better, but aside from that there isn't anything critique-wise I can mention. That lineart is neat, the colors are natural and attractive, and the gray-blotched background is simple yet adds quite a bit to it. My favorite thing about this picture is definitely the little looks they're exchanging. You can totally tell there's animosity between the two of them. Frank's like "hell no" and Kent is like "hell yessss". Haha! You can definitely tell Frank's a bit ticked at him though.
Very nice work on this picture overall, Ness, you did a faaaabulous job on this. Props and props again!
Now when DR2 comes out you can do a picture like this, only with Leon and Chuck. Or better yet, a picture with all four of them. That would be awesome... like Kent/Frank versus Leon/Chuck. In a four-way cage match, WHO WOULD WIN OH GOD?!

Sometimes the line art can be a pain to work with, especially with Kent's hair.
Y'know, I never felt saying that I do that line art by paint is worth saying. It's really not that special, just some extra work on my behalf.
I haven't worked that much with a light source...mostly because since there's no background there's really no light for there to be reflecting off the characters. Just a gray squiggle. XD
Kent is always smiling when he's around Frank, be it "yeah, I'm better than you" or "Yeah, I have a gun to yer head" he's just always smiling. XD While Frank....he never smiles. Seriously.

I don't think you could ever truly replace Frank and Kent.
I doubt Leon will be nearly as kinky as Kent. Kent is one-of-a-kind.
