Description If Blue appeared in the anime, my idea is that she'd be named Lee as in Leaf Green and that she'd be a great female rival for Ash

I have two more Blue concept sketches I want to finish but that could take some time.

This is really awesome! Though I would prefer her to be Ash's traveling companion instead of Misty (I have nothing against her). I think the only reason Misty was picked as the 2nd traveling partner is because there was no one else to pick from in the RGBY games. If Satoshi added Blue as playable in Gen.1 as intended, it would be very likely they would of choose her over Misty. Thus it would of been Ash, Brock and Blue from Kanto to Johto/Master Quest.

Last I check, Blue is her actual name. Leaf is just default name that fans chose.

Actually, it's been established that the character in the game and Blue are two different characters. In the game she is known as "Leaf". When the FireRed stories showed up in the manga, they changed Blue's outfit to match Leaf's. It causes a ton of confusion. O_e

The Japanese call her Blue. I've rarely seen her referred to as Green. Just ask my friend Yamato-san. He'll be around here sooner or later for sure, as Blue is one of his top Pokemon girls.

damn straight, she is. ^^ Dunno why it's taken me so long to reply to this, though. However, I find it worth pointing out that Japanese fan artists have a tendency to treat the PokeSpe characters completely separate from their original game counterparts. As such, they actually don't have a tendency to call her Blue, rather, they just always call her "Leaf". And keep in mind, even if Blue did don her uniform when the manga adapted FRLG, and even if both characters are arguably based off of the same source (mysterious black-dressed girl that chose the third starter in early Sugimori art... Leaf's hair, at least, looks similar), she's still notably different in the shape of her eyes (not to mention her bust ^^).

For that matter, as the icons on Pokesho probably indicate, it doesn't matter how many different canon iterations a single character has (nor does it matter if one of said canons had a remake), artists will treat every single one of them as their own entity.

Very nice!

But I would prefer she had her own adventure and didn't associate with Ash at all

And hope the anime writers don't give her some awful personality...

Hey! Very nice! Excellent job! But I think she would more like be a friend of Ash, but still she would battle him from time to time...

Green is what they call Gary in Japan. In the translated versions of the Manga they call him Blue. Though in my eyes his name will always be Gary. :3

Awesome, this looks almost exactly like something from the anime!
I don't know about it being "Blue" though... in my HeartGold version it said Blue was Oak's grandson.
