Lt. Obsidian was bullied from a young age. Eventually, she tried to go to Inkopolis, but she was rejected, which turned her into a complete monster. After killing everyone who wronged her, along with innocent people, Octavio made her an elite. When Octavio was captured, the commanders/lieutenants lead the octarians, but everyone feared Obsidian so much that she became the new leader. She became a wrathful dictator, and began imprisoning and executing thousands of octolings and dozens of inklings. In the end, she tried to destroy all life on the surface, but her bombs were sabotaged, so she blew up instead, ending the reign of terror.
