It's been a long time since I put out ANYTHING... but I was playing this awesome fan remake of 'Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link', dubbed 'Zelda 2 Enhanced PC Edition, made by Hoverbat, which led me to making a pixel version of one of the versions of the Magical Sword!

The Magical Sword is a blade appearing in the Zelda series, a weapon that preceded the Master Sword In the First Quest in 'The Legend of Zelda', Link finds the Magical Sword in the possession of the 'Magical Sword-Giving Old Man' who lives underneath a grave in the Graveyard. The Old Man requires that Link have at least twelve Heart Containers in his Life Gauge before he gives Link the Magical Sword. In the Second Quest, the Magical Sword is found in the northern mountains, one screen to the left of where the White Sword is found. The Magical Sword has the same properties as all of the other Swords in the game, such as the ability to shoot Sword Beams, but the Magical Sword does twice as much damage than the White Sword, and four times the damage as the Sword. It is the most powerful weapon in the game. The Magical Sword is entirely optional, however, as only the Silver Arrows and any kind of Sword are required to defeat Ganon.

In 'The Adventure of Link, Link starts his new adventure already equipped with the Magical Sword and the Magical Shield. Link can augment his sword's ability to do Sword Beams with the Fire spell, allowing him to shoot Fireballs out of his sword, even when he is not at full health. The damage of the blade is improved the more the Attack power is leveled up.

I first chose the version from the art on the Famicom's version of 'The Adventure of Link', as there are fewer arts of this version than others. And in that fan remake I played, this version is the LV-1 Magical Sword. As for LV- 2... I think you'll see what comes next, once I have time for it...

No scabbard, as it was not seen with one, no matter the version.
