I swear... there's something about the blades from the Dragon Quest series that makes me want to do pixel styles of them, 'cause I just did the Steel Broadsword just a few days ago!The Liquid Metal Sword, once called the 'Metal Babble Sword' in the US, is a powerful recurring sword of mystery metal in the Dragon Quest series. It is often one of the strongest weapons in the game, over even legendary weapons, and boasts the ability to deal damage to Metal Slimes. It features an emblem of a Liquid Metal Slime on its crossguard, and in certain titles is a stand alone weapon while in others it is the direct upgrade of the Metal Slime Sword.
I chose the version that appeared in the remakes of 'Dragon Quest 4: Chapters of the Chosen', as in 'Dragon Quest 8' and 'Dragon Quest 9' the design is a bit similar to the Metal Slime Sword. And the scabbard design was found on the Wiki, under the 'Dragon Quest Legend Items Gallery' of miniature items.
