It's Back! Phunk'n has been brought to Messenger 2009 and it is now better than ever
This skin is something that goes above and beyond existing skins and brings the birth of a new era in Windows Live Messenger skins. Available in both black and white with a series of user options.
Ad's aren't removed because of the rules on the Messenger Plus site so if you want them removed you have to get the remover from [link] You have to register on the boards though just so this file isn't available to the general public.

Install Messenger Plus Live 4.70 and make sure you have Windows Live Messenger 8.5. Download the skin file you want and then just open it, tick "enable after import" and it will automatically import itself and apply itself to Messenger. Please note the Messenger will restart itself when you do this, it will also restart itself for any of the skin options you want to apply later.

Well I just downloaded the white version to check out if it was corrupted or something, but no it was fine. It imported and installed fine.
Make sure that the white skin was 2.02MB in size.

right under where it says your personal message on the right side there's a little button that says "change your color scheme" u can change it with that

If its not showing up all crisp then its probably because you have Cleartype turned off. Just turn it back on and it should be fine.

I have heard that windows plus is a virus or adds a virus to your computer, in fact I tried messenger plus before and I started getting IE pop-ups that slowed my comp way down ( and I don't eve use IE I use firefox)to the point I had to wipe my hard drive totally and re-install my OS. Has anyone else experienced this or know more about it.. as I LOVE the look of these skins, but I am scared to go through that again.

not all, the problem is that most people do not read when installing and do not know that you can install plus without the sponsor program which brings up all those virus alerts.
All you have to do is select "I refuse to give my support, don't install the sponsor" and it will install a clean copy of the program.
There is a common misconception that Messenger Plus! Live is evil adware. That is far from the case, its just people don't take the time to read what they are getting into
Patchou is a real nice guy, I have the pleasure of being able to communicate with him and he is a fair person. At least he offers people the option of not installing the sponsor and that's a pretty nice gesture.
