So here it is ladies and gentlemen.
The skin to ring in my return to scene. I'd like to introduce you to Pulse. It's something I came up with to get on board the whole scene where typography and clean graphics are the way to go.
Pulse features a few new features that I haven't ever used in skins before. The first being restoring the old Messenger 8.1 feature that had 16x16 display pictures in the compact contact list. The second being a super compact alert design.
For Messenger 2011, it only skins Messenger and not the Windows frame, to make your frame look like the one in the screenshot you have to install the Windows 7 theme Appows available here: [link]

Do you plan on updating this for Messenger Plus! now that there's a stable version for Messenger 11? I certainly hope so.

It's a pretty tough choice for me. 2011's got a lot of restrictions when it comes to making skins. The main killer is that I am forced to use the original window frame so it kind of ruins a lot of the designs that used a pretty cool custom set of min max close buttons.
If I can look at the skin and safely say, "yeah it doesn't really ruin it" then I will update it. But then there will be other skins where its either not possible anymore or it just detracts too much from the original design.

Yeah, I noticed that the minimize/maximize/close buttons didn't exactly blend in with the Ev0 skin that I downloaded. I can see why you'd not want to update it, because that kinda bugged me too. I like the awesome window frames you use in your skins.

I was using the msg plus 4.9. I uninstalled and installed 4.84 and now the chat window is minimizing.

I had stopped skinning, its been a year and a bit since I've last done anything.
Things have been good, mainly stopped to get my life a bit more organized with work and all. Now that its all good I decided to come back for a bit.

Yeah I would have tried making this in the new Messenger but since there is no Messenger Plus! for it yet there no way for me to do so.

There is no Messenger Plus! for 2011 yet so even if I wanted to do I couldn't. But hopefully when its ready I will bring it to 2011.
