This is a base I made for myself, and for others to use when making a reference for humanoid characters!

So, basically, use this, but please credit me either by writing my name or by linking back here :3

The Top Box: Here you state the name of your character, species, gender and age. The basic knowledge. The font used here is Comic Sans MS, but you can choose your own font. Heck, you can even change the colour of the boxes if you want! Edit anything, but still credit me please!

The Left Box: Your character! Draw him or her here, in any pose you like. I have drawn wings here, to show that they fit. Well, sort of. If you have a tall character, well, then fit them in somehow. You're smart enough to find out.

The Middle Box: Info about your character. This would've been posted around 2 or 4 o'clock this morning, not 5 minutes to 11 in the evening if I hadn't spent so much time trying to find good info to put in here.
I think enough is covered here. Oh, and the colours need an "other" part, but that comes later.
Some of the info came from me surfing through other peoples references and looking at myspace profiles XD
Font used: Handwriting - Dakota

I forgot to add "Hand Orientation" in this info box, but forgot. Silly me! Oh, and before you think any wrong things about that, it means "are you left or right-handed". It's not about the sexual orientation of your hand XD

The Right Box: Here you draw your character again, from the side, back, or in another outfit if they have one. For other types of characters, say werewolves, you could draw their alternate form here! Or if someone has multiple personalities, one personality each side? Or just fill this box in with whatever you want. Oh, and I drew the sketch with a tail to show that tails fit in too.

The Bottom Box: Here you add in little extra details, with Colour Circles like in the Middle Box. Weapons, alternate forms of colour, jewellery, close-ups, facial expressions... Just extra details. This can also be crammed into the Right Box if you want. This is just how I'm using these, you can change it.
