My one and Only Laptop!Going to be used for the College work, since I'm heading there next month!
Also got an SSD upgrade, should get a few more years out of it!

Oh my! This brings me back! I still have my old F572-US Sitting on a shelf, although it be in pieces, only because it had a problem with cooling, and the GPU chip melted. Oh well. Great to see one from this so called 'era' is still working nice and strong I enjoyed mine.
Although back when I bought mine, 1GB of ram was the standard for new computers with a 64-bit Version of Windows Vista! Heh. Good times.

And yeah... that is funny, Though After having my computer with 16GB RAM, the 4GB I have on mine doesn't feel like a whole lot, but it works. lol

Well, I've never seen a game that really ever wants more than 8 GB of ram, so maybe 16 is a little overkill?? Most of my servers only carry 4GB of ram right now, even though there max config is like 32, 48, or 64GB. Although, things are only getting better, so perhaps 16 GB will start becoming more of a standard. In fact right now, I don't have any computers with a 16GB Configuration right now. My Mobile workstation supports 32GB of 1600mhz, but I wanted the 1866mhz platform, and as you can imagine 4 sticks of 4Gig SODIMMS was pricy compared to two.
Anyway, I know my Presario had issues, but maybe yours isn't so defective? I hope so.

Actually in my future systems I would want at least 8GB RAM, 4GB would be the bare minimum. lol
And my server has 8GB RAM @ 1333, thanks to the i3 2100 in it... lol
I had it for a long time now, in fact, it was my 2nd computer, so it's the oldest of my network. lol

The Oldest guy on my network was is one of these, [link] It had a hard drive that was before the days of EIDE, I was a bit shocked. The sad fact is, that thing is not even wireless and has a max of 2GB of Ram @ 800, and a 32-Bit Only Pentium 4 @3.40GHZ w/ Hyper-Threading. Not only did it weigh like 10 pounds, it was one of the coolest machines to have back in 2003. ha ha ha.
