Wow, your spec is similar with my father computer (also uses GTS 250, but from ASUS ENGTS-250 TOP).
My own computer uses GTX 460.

Really? thanks.
But I'll upgrade my rig again at my birthday (April 23) for a GTX 580, 2x more powerful than GTX 460.
I have had a friend who will buy my GTX 460.

Oww...
If you want to upgrade your PC but still stick in with your motherboard, you can change these components:
>Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T. your socket is AM3, not supported for AM3+ such as Bulldozer and Zambezi class
>VGA: you can change like me, GTX 580, or more powerful GTX 590 (double GF-110 chips), or you want to try AMD 7000 series like HD7970. For dual-GPU from AMD, choose HD6990. GTX 590 isn't enough in 750W PSU like mine.
>Power supply: 500W isn't enough to run up to GTX 550Ti, so if you want to change with another powerful VGA, choose up to 650W PSU. PSU like CoolerMaster Silent Pro, Enermax Platimax, Corsair CX, Tagan, etc are recommended.

Eh, no need, I don't really believe in major upgrading, if I want to upgrade something, just make a new computer, although I may get an AMD athlon ii x2 processor for my crash dummie eventually

Ow, okay. Because gamers from my country usually think that: upgrade? just upgrade the components, no upgrade for motherboard. haha..
Like me, in my birthday, I just want to replace my GTX 460 with GTX 580. LGA 1155 even LGA 2011 mobo? Not interested with that, core i7 875K is still fast. (although in fact, core i5 2500K is better than Core i7 875K! T.T....)
If you want to upgrade all of your components, are you interested to choose Core i7 Sandy Bridge-E LGA 2011? Core i7 3930XE, 35% better than Core i7 2600K....

I am actually thinking about making an AMD FX computer for my next build, hopefully the new ones yet to be released won't have issues...

You want to use AMD FX series? I prefer to use Intel.
Are you know that most powerful AMD FX, FX 8310, just a little better than Core i5 2500K? In the same price, you can choose Core i7 2600K.

ah looks like I have an intel fanboy on my hands xD , I would like a six core or even an eight core CPU for my next computer, and I don't want to pay a premium to have it... besides, I have no need for the i7, but I may consider using the ivy bridge or the processors after that's i7 for it...

Sant1VAn In reply to CSCoder4ever [2012-01-15 17:13:19 +0000 UTC]
Core i7 3930XE is also 8-cores processor, which has performance 80% better than AMD FX8310. But it's for LGA 2011. Double expensive for processor and motherboard.
But it's no problem if you're a AMD fan, because now I have planning to change my VGA with AMD card for second opinion. hehe... I like AMD because... their red color trademark= truly gaming sense. NVIDIA= green. Aaaa....

yeah, I can make friends with both AMD fanboys and intel fanboys, cause' I have something with both in common lol. and GPU wise I don't care, I just choose and use essentially.

looks very nice. Yeah that athlon II x 4 processor is gonna be kinda rough without the L3 cache. I don't even know if the FX8 bulldozer has a L3 cache, but recently people have been getting dud cores in their processors. lol
Once they fix that issue, it will be pretty hard to beat.

Also, why are you using a 32-bit system? You should use a 64-bit system with the second build. D:
Oh and I too have my second build coming along too, but my friend is building it for himself, even tho I gave him the specs. It will top mine without breaking a sweat, if everything works out like it should. xD
