I've been feeling depressed all day today and I have no idea why. I'm usually a fairly upbeat guy, but today i'm depressed.anyway, i'd fallen behind watching Sonic Boom and today I caught up. (Yes, i know, but It's actually a pretty interesting show.) and in doing so i watched episode 15: Aim Low. and in that one, Eggman was depressed too. and this scene popped into my head and i just had to make it. I didn't model Eggman for this, I found a ripped model from the WiiU game. you can get itΒ here . i did, however, give him a very simple ik rig and I modeled the hallway he's in.

'Boomification ensues'
Eggman: wow! I look so cool! And I'm buff!!!! yay! I'm sure I'm going to be bossing around minions and acting like an emperor, or tyrant!
Sega: well...
'Lyric slivers in'
Lyric: you're mine, ass-wad.
'D.fect enters'
D.fect: and after him, sonic saves you from me!!!!
Eggman: i-i get betrayed by another of my own robots? I'm some sort of lacky to a kaa knock-off. I thought I was going to be the main villain...
'Sailing no more starts playing as eggman walks into his lair.'

Well that explains why he seems like he's always depressed.

It's easy to forget that underneath all the robots and chaos he creates, Eggman is human. Great job portraying the more human side to him.

and is the sight that sight the model is on sorta like model's recourse were you can rig the models for different Β 3D programs?

the site is part of the models resource but its the forums section, its where people talk about what they're working on and collaborate to rip models from newer games. i rigged it myself using blender.

You can really feel the emotion in this piece. The bleak hallway reflecting how hollow he's feeling and with his arm device on the ground just how he's so given up...... My goodness, this was probably my fav episode, not because I enjoyed seeing Eggy depressed, but just how it made him that much more endearing of a character because he feels those deeper emotions and something we can relate to.
