So here is my slightly abstract imagination, just interpret for yourself!
I must have processed a thousand stocks for this, hope I didnยดt forget anyone.
So many thanks to all you wonderful stock providers!

I really find this piece amazing.
I love all the detail and all of the attention you put to it. I also like how the polluted clouds on the right wrap around the turtle. The expression that the turtle reads, to me anyway, as though it's in pain.
It sort of makes me think of cancer from pollutants. The turtle looks like s/he is in so much pain that s/he can't even walk anymore. I really admire this. Great work!!

In 2050, we will be Discworld...
I love the ominous background colors and the little details, particularly the city and the turtle's "oh, hell" expression.
Haha, this is wonderful. We have exhausted the turtle, and the turtle is pissed.

One day when I was in elementary school and my teacher sad that maya or incas( i don1t remeber very well) beleved that the world was carried in the back of a turtle, is this your concept?
Its a nice 3d work, you all deserve thios dd

Thank you so much!
I think, people in early europe thought so too. But this is only setting here, the real concept ist the pollution and exhaustion of earth and leaving this wasted lands to our children.

weren't it some native american myth that the world was actually carried around by a huge turtle? If so this captures that idea perfectly

cSturm In reply to Debb555 [2010-07-06 11:25:55 +0000 UTC]
Yes I think so, I have learned this in history lesson in germany too. People used to think, earth was a disk and is carried by a huge turtle.

Your forgetting the 4 elephants who hold up the flat surface of earth, the idea's been done by terry pratchet already, living on the back of a giant turtle.
which i suppose this is good, terry pratchets idea was better.
