I think you'll get a kick out of this my friend even as I was doing this piece last weekend I had a guy who does $10 commission fan art. he seems to mostly do women so just for the sake of curiosity commissioned him to do a Starshine piece last weekend this is what he came up with www.deviantart.com/art/Starshi…

well remember amigo he only charges $10 for something like that. let me see if I can put this in perspective for you $10 is what a meal for two people at McDonald's will buy you or a single ticket to the movies. that's very cheap an artist at a convention would charge at least 3 times that much just to do a pencil sketch. so for that little bit of money you can't really expect much in the way of a background. as for Starshine I've done 3 different pieces with her in them in the past couple months so probably that's gonna do it for now with Starshine.

Wow, that's big news indeed, I feel rather reluctant about this though, without his established background and history don't know if I will be able to enjoy this reboot.
At least Rom will have the chance to be introduced in a modern audience, and wish them the best of success.

thanks, but just so you know this isn't entirely one of those team ups that never happened. The Avengers led by Vision fought the wraiths in their own title as well as in the pages of ROM.

right on thanks i'm really happy with the way it came out to. it was one of those cases where i was in "the zone" when i did yesterday afternoon. my fiance being pre-occupied with yesterday's basketball game and some house cleaning certainly was helpful.

I love this. It actually makes me want to see a whole team. Rom, the vision , the original human torch, deathlok.......that's all I can remember of half man half machine heroes. I count human torch cuz he was created by artificial means but is human in many ways. Also did you know that the vision is a time clone of the original human torch?

in the comics yes it is. Apparently during the storyline called "Avengers Forever" rick jones pulls avengers from different times to the present to help fight against the immortus who came to kill him because his future would disrupt reality but kang comes in to save him and help this band of avengers fight immortus. Immortus had stolen from kang's secret time city an object called the chrono stone that gives him power over time, he erased timelines, split the android the human torch in two copies, one taken by ultron and the mad thinker who had the other but didn't think he took the android cuz the human torch was still there or so he thought. You should give it a read. I might have remembered some details wrong but I know that immortus is the antagonist of the story and kang is their ally.
