These two are probably the most underrated comic-book characters I've ever seen. They should've done much more with them. Specially with ROM.

i think the best thing i've done in recent months were those ROM vs The Brood pieces but i'm pretty happy with this one too. i also felt like it was time for some color fan art i'm glad you like it thanks for the feed back.

I allways did like Man-Thing over DC's Swamp-Thing though i have both characters origins,Β Manny struck me as being more tragic,
in his early days he DID accidently kill people who tried to help him!Β He was also a founding member of the second incarnation of the Legion of Monsters featuring Ghost Rider, Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing and Morbius the Living Vampire.

i'm actually a big Swamp Thing fan it was my favorite DC title next to The Suicide Squad. but I got plenty of love for Marvel's MT as well I read some of his stuff back in the day. but I think ST's situation was more tragic because unlike MT ST retained his full intellect so he wasΒ always tortured with the loss of his humanity where as MT was a creature of almost pure instinct with all fragments of Ted Sallis's memories. but I always loved that whole burning touch aspect of MT it was a very original concept. it always made for a cool consequence that never got old much like when Bruce Banner turns into The Hulk.

Indeed,Β Steve Gerber who wrote and created Man-Thing was just brilliant(and wacky in real life according to those who worked with him during his Marvel years!) but i do like Swamp Thing if only for Bernie Wrightson's excellent artwork,Β and i have the uncut Swamp Thing first film(just can't get enough of Adrienne Barbeau! Arf!

Isn't Adrienne da Bomb!Β Shes aging gracefully, still lovely,Β in her youth she was one of my faves she only did ONE pin-up and that is a collector's item(i have that original poster of her in the Lavender teddy!Β John Carpenter convinced her to do it and that was before they got married!) I've only seen the end of Escape from New York,Β to this day i still haven't seen it all the way through!Β One of these days maybe, Β hunt down a throw away horror flick called Open House if you want to see MORE of her!Β Β Along with my collections of Jamie Lee Curtis, Jenny Agutter and Sylvia Kristel i'm a HAPPY collector!Β

???: My mission to preserve the purity of this universe. In order to do that, all impure beings must be eliminated. He, and the rest of the Midnight Sons, are impure. Their presence is corrupting.
Rom: And who are you to pass judgement on them? You are responsable for the destruction of the old universe! Bilions died because of you! I refuse to let you shed any more blood!
???: Know this, Space Knight...you cannot protect the team of sinners for long. Once the Infinity War begins, I will have my due.

Pretty kick-ass dialogue.
Something tells me ??? is going to burn at the Man-Thing's touch.

Access is a spirit, a being only matched by the Hyperforce Overlanders in powers.
During the Infinity War, she will kill ALL of the Midnight Sons (including Man-Thing).
Access doesn't fear Man-Thing. Access fears very little. The Touch of Man-Thing won't work on her, for she knows no fear.
Also, as a spirit, Access can't die.
