Description
My creation for ...specifically,for their contest in which you create an animal mascot for their group. Since one of the rules was that you could create a fantasy creature,I immediately thought of jackalopes,which I've had a fascination with ever since I saw one on a relative's postcard from Wall Drug.
Not merely content to use just a jackalope,I thought I'd merge the jackrabbit / antelope hybrid with a third animal,something that would be visually interesting...I considered dolphins,duck-billed platypuses,giraffes...I even considered other fantasy creatures like unicorns and gryphons (discarding that one because it already was a hybrid).
When I decided on a dinosaur,I immediately went with a T-rex...but then decided I liked a triceratops better.

8-16-2015...the results are in...I won third place...not bad!
