Description
An improved re-do of a piece featuring Treasure Planet's Captain Amelia and Tarzan's Jane Porter, with the former giving in to her animal nature in amorous pursuit of the hapless latter.

I actually did such a depiction several years back, then decided to re-do it last month, but I originally chose to draw the crouching Jane freehand, without the benefit of any visual reference, resulting in a less-than-satisfactory pose. For whatever reason, I chose not to correct it and just complete it and post it. When a posted comment reflected my dissatisfaction with it, I knew I had to try it again.
I moved on to other art, but eventually came back to this. I am now happy with the way it turned out, having also given Amelia a more animal-like stance and used Picasa to drench the picture in color suggesting the high heat of its setting.
