Description
I know Christmas is still two months off,but a few years back,I had an idea for a cartoon involving the nativity,the three magi,and the humorous results of a mispronounced word.I made it into a simple,cartoonish illustration that I touched up slightly for my computer,but I was never happy with the result.
This is an expansion of that idea,made into a larger image so as to be used as computer wallpaper,rendered in a visual style suggested by the work of Gustave Dore'{1832-1883},an engraver/illustrator who frequently drew from the Bible for his art,which has long been one of my personal favorites.
