Several weeks ago,I was on YouTube,watching somebody's recording of the mid-90's arcade game "CarnEvil";one of my favorite parts is when the player is in close proximity to a Christmas-themed rollercoaster dubbed "Slay Ride",machine-gunning down hideous hobgoblins clad in red-and-green elf costumes,all to the tune of a jaunty,bouncy,almost-1950sesque music clearly designed to invoke the holiday.
From Scrooge's ghostly visitors to the Joan Collins segment in 1972's "Tales From The Crypt" to "The Nightmare Before Christmas",blending horror with Christmas---the NON-Christian version---has often yielded interesting results---results I found inspiration in.
