From the pages of Astro City comics....a tribute to both The Dark Age,the longest and most elaborate storyline in the series,and to legendary artist Jim Steranko,and the visuals he created at Marvel Comics during the Silver Age.
Since The Dark Age takes place primarily in the 1970s,I thought it be interesting to try this style. Also....kind of a coincidence,really....this was the story in which those that had been following Astro City from the beginning finally learn of the Silver Agent's tragic fate,something that had been hinted at in earlier stories.

2-1-2020.....I decided to revise this piece slightly,in keeping more with the Jim Steranko theme.....I used Picasa to bleed almost all the color out of the background and sharpen the image....protagonists Charles and Royal Williams were untouched.
