These playing cards were made last summer as a promotional item to advertise all the departments of Florida State University's student union.
Around 8 people worked on this project. I myself drew about a dozen full cards, heavily edited and added to many of them, and checked for color swatch, font, and placement consistency on each individual card before they were sent to the printers. The card were silk screened in four colors on clear plastic. Any gray lines were left transparent.

Pleasant concept! Were these printed out and handed out as full decks, or were people expected to take one card apiece from a single deck?

They are handed out as full decks, but they aren't given out as readily as many of our smaller promotional items such as pens and lanyards. We've given them to some of student organizations and a limited number of students, and we're planning to give out the rest as part of a prize pack during Union events.

I'm so glad you like them! I did all the Aces and Jacks as well as:
Spades: half of 4, 7, half of 8, 9, the Queen, half of the King
Hearts: half of 5
Clubs: half of 2, half of 6, half of7, half of8, the King
Diamonds: half of 5, half of 6
...and a whole bunch of minor edits like fixing hands and hair on the rest of them.
