Often times people dig through their old art and color their black and white images. That got me thinking, wouldn't it be cool if there was an emoticon that turned from black and white to color? So I made this.EDIT (4/25/05)
I'm resubmitting this into the emote contest. I checked the rules and I didn't see anything saying that emotes made previous to the contest start wouldn't be allowed, so I hope they accept this as an entry. I cut the frames down by about 10 to make it run quicker, mainly deleteing pauses and blinking parts. I reoptimized it, too, so now all those annoying black lines are gone. As much as I would have loved to make new emoticons, I had no free time this past month. Instead I just decided to spit-shine my favorite emote in my gallery. I'm not in this for the free subscription, though. I know I may never get a daily deviation or 100+ favorites and make it to the main page, so getting just one of my emotes onto the list is practically my only chance of leaving my mark on DA.

OMG so good!! you should make one that cycles through colors, like it's trying on all of them to see which looks best. from red to orange....... it would be awesome

Hmm, it's indeed an excellent emoticon and the animation is still smooth even if you cut some of the frames. But I still prefer others such as Parade or :evolve:; they just seem more original to me.
