I hadn't really thought about it much. But now that I am, I think that they're at the point beyond the fighting. They used to fight a lot. Since then, they've come to an understanding when it comes to each other. Raph has become slightly darker, and Leo takes undue responsibility for it. He feels that not being strong enough to NOT fight with Raphael is somehow responsible for Raph's rage, so in turn, he treats him with more compassion than he used to. 

How's that?

I dig it. I always felt that for Ninjas, they were always quite ill-prepared. Ninjas are supposed to have gear and cover.
