My rendition of April O'Neil. I tried to base this version on actress Megan Boone. You'll probably think her armor looks similar to my version of Baxter Stockman, well I'm taking her back to her original occupation as Baxter Stockman's former assistant. But in this one, she just happened to have a minor in journalism. The new April uses her knowledge of technology and incorporates that into her investigative journalism. She also collaborates with Donatello on the technological end.Related content

Oh crazy, no I haven't read anything but the original series in a very long time. That's pretty cool though. Sad I'm inventing the wheel after people are already on bikes though.

Also, did you read the most recent TMNT issue of IDW's ongoing comic? April was VERY similar to your idea as she sported some scientific equipment designed by Donatello and their scientist friend Harold. She used an intangibility shield to make her temporarily invulnerable and the gravity gauntlet to lay waste to Rocksteady and Bebop.
