Update: Original sketch is up on my blog in case you would like to see: [link]This piece is about a world where there are these creatures that live in the water, but if they break the surface they become paralyzed by fear because they are... really stupid.
There are also these little land dwelling monsters that move into the water creatures and make them their homes.
It was kind of a weird idea I had while doodling in a coffee shop. Soon after I realized this kind of parallels my current frustrations of finding my own place to live. The apartment I wanted had restrictions and I could not move in. It has made it difficult for me to look for anything else as I fell in love with that apartment. But anywho, I'm looking into some other options now.
I just think it would be cool if we could toss a line and easily find a new place to live.
I worked on this during a few live stream sessions, thanks to all who stopped in to check it out, I will also post the original sketch soon, if anyone is interested.

Love the concept here, lol. I have to say, I find the one with the tongue through the side of his head really creepy. Awesome, but so utterly creeptastic.

OMG!!! TOTALLY CREEPTASTIC... when I was sketching it out it seemed like a cool idea because i was like "oh they're just silly houses", but when the concept is applied and then put into the 'real world' its like, "thats a decomposing fish... with maggots living inside..." Hahaha...

OH! OH! Good question and observation! Thats another cluster of buildings in the distance with similar creatures. I thought it would be cool if in this world there would be more colonies to adventure too.
