You can definitely see the (non-superhero) American cartoon influence in this. I really like when people make an effort to blend eastern and western styles.

I like how you're going with an evolved version of your chibi style. Its definitely working out for you. You just need to tweak it a bit. Namely I think you'll have to watch out for the head being too big. You still want a larger head but you don't want to balloon-ize it.
