Any living creature who has seen a black hole, has never lived to tell about it...___________________________________
The last piece in my series of space images. I will now be going more into my old stuff for now.
I decided to do something original and never done before: a black hole. Hopefully this has never been done before, because I've looked through all of Greg and Gary's work and not one of them protrayed a black hole.
Brightness = 60-65 for pefection.
This is how I portray a black hole.

Despite any of the "glitches" stated above, it's still an amazing piece. Liberties need to be taken considering we've never really seen things get sucked into a black hole up close

this is perfect, just perfect!!! the speed and gravitation of that blak hole seems so OVERPOWERING, INTENSE speed which just increase as the materia closes in........and there is no light emanating from it either.......oooh........i've seen many great space images today and damnit this is one of the best indeed

Nice. A tad unrealistic, but I think you're just trying to help your work. The planet just above the hole is illuminated in light when teh light would not be able to pass around the black hole to illuminate it. Oh well..LOL

I'm sorry that you're leaving DA - I've just discovered you for the first time today. I particularly like this image - interpretations of black holes are almost non existant outside the scientific world. Well done. There's a certain drama do it that is very fitting. Well, I hope you might be checking in every so often. Perhaps you'll eventualy be inspired to rejoin and spread more of your work around. While there are many here who are doing their work for the fame, there are many artists too - true ones that look to each other for inspiration and support. It's always sad to loose another such artist.

It's nice, the only thing I dont like is the astroids and the clouds. Also, with the color all over the planets, it is'nt realistic, but I guess that's just me who likes realistic in space images heh, still a good job tho dawg.

that is amazing. good enough to be an actual movie poster. my one quam is the asteroids though. they do not look immensley realistic but none the less that image is an 11/10...excellent!
