Henry the green engine first came to The island of Sodor as an LNER A1 and GNR C1 hybrid engine, with a smaller fire box, unfortunately, his fire box was giving him trouble, it wouldn't let
him steam properly, Sir Topham Hatt, also known as The fat controller, originally wanted to send Henry away and get a new engine instead of him, but Henry's Fireman had informed The fat controller that Henry needed welsh coal rather than regular coal in order for him to steam properly.
When Henry obtained the welsh coal, he felt like a new engine, on an early while it was still dark out, Henry had to take a special goods train that carries fish called The flying Kipper, on his way to his destination, he was accinentally switched to another line, were a goods train was waiting in a sighting to let The flying Kipper pass, due to ice and snow freezing up the signal and points, without, Henry was on collision corse with the goods train and smased into the train with brute force, smashing the brake van of the goods train to smithereens, Henry layed on his side dazed and suprised, he was worried that The fat controller might get cross with him because the accident, but he insurred Henry is that wasn't his fault and it was ice and snow that caused that mess in the first place.
The damage on Henry was so severe, The fat controller had decided to send him to Crewe on the mainland to give him a complete overhaul with a new shape, Henry was skeptical at first, but went along with it regardless, when he got back to Sodor, this time rebilt as an LMS 5MT "Black Five",
he felt like a new engine again and gave Gordon a run for his money.

Durring the golden age of Cybertron, The Arielbots Silverbolt, Air Raid, Fireflight, Skydive and Slingshot had went back in time from 9 million years the future in 1985, thanks to Megatron's time machine known as the Kronosphere, The Arielbots were wondering through Cybertron's past, they came across a storage yard with a riverside dock, they also came across three young dock workers Orion Pax, his best Dion and his girlfriend Ariel, suddenley they saw three flying decepticons which were the pastselfs of Shockwave, Soundwave and Megatron, Megatron soon met Orion and ask if the storage yard have has any energy, when Orion said they only store energy, Megatron orderod his Decepticons minions to attack, Ariel, Orion and Dion, attempted to stop Megatron, but failed.
When The Arielbots came back to the a storage yard, they were horrified to see what Megatron had done to them, They picked up Orion's unconscious body and carry him to a maintenance shop filled with Autobot drones and owned by a younger version of Alpha Trion, Alpha Trion was willing to repair Orion, as a request made by The Arielbots, when Alpha Trion finished, he informed them that Orion had been rebuild into a new shape a new name, his new name was in fact Optimus Prime,

when The Arielbots learn that Orion would became Optimus, they were shocked, Optimus went after Megatron and the Dropkick Decepticon drones, while The Arielbots planted some explosions inside the storage yard building to stop the Decepticon from winning the war, before being transported back to the future in 1985.

As you can see, Henry and Optimus Prime, had both they're originals shapes and rebuild shapes featured in they're respected shows, they both received new shapes due to being involve with
major injuries.
