Featuring Sophia [animejrock05] as Renton, myself as Talho, Rick [NiceGai44] as Matthieu, Nikolai as Stoner, Amy [Kagomechan] as Eureka, Parasaurolophus as Gidget, Kate [Katetriss] as Moondoggie, Manda [Masayume] as Mischa, Vicky [Vicksta] as Woz, and Chris [InfinityWulf] as Jobs. Photo taken by Ollie [Orobouros.net] at Otakon 2007. This was the final product of a mass Eureka 7 group that I organized last year, and I was very happy to have collected such a fine cast! Also among our ranks [though not pictured] were Anemone, Dominic, and Sakuya. Our Holland and Hap had other commitments that came up at the last minute. D: But wow, this was the realization of a small dream for me!Please no critiques/criticism. I'd like to keep this gallery happy! <3

If you read the image description, Holland was not able to make it to our shoot due to a family emergency. We missed having him there, but he was doing the right thing by placing family above a hobby. ^__^;

The forums on cosplay.com are a great place to start connecting with people. When I began attending cons, I knew only my two friends who went along with me, but through the forums I met many people who had similar interests and were willing to get together for photoshoots and gatherings. If it hadn't been for cosplay.com, I wouldn't have known any of the friends in this photo with me. ^__^

Haha, you guys did an awesome job! Man, I wish that my group of friends and I would do Eureka Seven, but instead we're gonna do a mish-mash Bleach. XP It wouldn't be so bad if the Taichou really wanted to do it and didn't have class during AX's dates. D|
Then again, seeing a lot of E7 cosplays just make me want to do one even though my friends and I are like... Not in the best of shape for it. XD

Well, I think it'll still be fun, since it'll be my first convention and first grouped/planned cosplay, so it shouldn't be so bad.

If the hair is a problem, you should consider wigs. When I first started, I was really adverse to the idea of dishing out $35+ on a wig, but by my second year of cosplaying, I refused to go without a wig. They just look so much nicer than real hair, and really add to a costume.

I just like my really long [butt-crack-length] hair, and don't want to cut or dye all of it blond for a cosplay.
But I wonder if the wigs'll have enough room for my really uber long hair to all fit under there....

Oh gosh, don't cut or dye your hair for cosplay! That's so silly. Wigs look infinitely better than real hair, anyway. No "bad hair days" ruining a costume. And your hair will most definitely fit under a wig. Prior to 2006, I had curly hair below my waist, and it was never a problem for me.

how did you get it under your wig? 8o i just got a wig and my hair is like breast length and it practically doesnt fit. of course my hair is curly so i would straighten it and get a wig cap. would that really make a difference?
