Baby Roadcut :3 man you're so cute!Β
Yup he decided from very young age that he was to be a racer! Being reckless and fast on wheels, it was only natural that he loved the speed and competitions.
His parents mainly smiled at his childish dream - but little Roadcut sneaked out every day to practice
- and once he grew up he proved everyone that hard work had paid off ^^

Wait, how can he know who his father is if family is a completely alien concept to TFs? It can't be genetics or ancestry, because even protoforms are forged from raw material like any other machine.
Sorry, but it really irritates me how fans love to put things like specific family titles (aunt, father, cousin, etc.) in pre-human contact TFs if it's explicitly stated that "family" is a human-only concept in TF lore. I can understand things like camaraderie because that doesn't require ancestry or genetics. Family, however, does, and TFs in any given lore don't have that.

By that definition, wouldn't his father be some sort of factory worker or inventor? Because as explained in FoC, most pre-war TFs die in the occupation they were born in. So...why can't it be that he was just fascinated by racers? It's less inspirational but it's also a lot less BS. Hell, have him use his, *ahem*, "dad's" leftover scraps and gadgets to mod himself for racing, that'd be a fun comic to do.
Also, you could just outright say "creator" instead of father, like how Optimus referred to Alpha Trion in G1. So yeah, still calling BS on this.
