I swear to whatever it is that keeps me from succeeding in mermay - I'm not that easily defeated!
As mentioned earlier I was travelling a lot in April and then I've been battling corona with its lovely after effects for the last three weeks - so my attempts on Mermay were once again delayed.
But luckily I met up with a friend who had recently picked up watercolors and she kinda kicked my ass back to painting again so watercolor mermaids it is to you folks!

Since one can't go wrong with purple I had to go Amethyst - and of course forget pieces of her design, but isn't she prettyyyy.
I do feel like I'm super boring with my watercolor backgrounds - but after what happened to Piper I'm just so scared of ruining my paintings with elaborate backgrounds I didn't plan on the sketching stage.

I suppose I have to make the entire crew now that I've already made three...
