Again, sorry the qaulity's so crappy. I'm going to color this and scan it in, I think, at a friend's house.

This is Kate de Vries from Kennth Oppel's "Airborn" and "Skybreaker". SUCH wonderful books. Read them. Seriously.

Anyway, Kate is very wealthy but determined to be as intelligent as she possibly can be. She's unquenchable. And fiery and determined and pretty wonderful. In love with Matt Cruse (one of my absolute favorite pairings!). This is her in an evening gown at some party somewhere. This is the first drawing of Kate I've done that I've actually liked.

Kayla - I did this when you were on the phone with me but left for a long time to ask your parents something and I told you it was fine because I'd started a drawing. And this was it!

Simple as hell but I like it.
