Noticeable feature(s): He is a blend between his parents color wise. His dual colored mane is from his father. Unlike either parent, his claws aren't always out. He also has fur near his ears, which side it's from is currently unknown.

"Asani's birth was not a very welcomed one, especially by Scar, the ruling King at the time. Since he recognized who the father of the cub was and had the male in question disposed of for good. Zira, the mother, manages to convince Scar to spare the cub's life as she promises he would be useful, regardless of who his father is. Perhaps Scar had a sick sense of humor as he did decide to spare Asani's life.. But not due to kindness, but likely to rub further salt in the father's wounds by giving the condition that he would be named the cub's father instead. Zira agrees and thus, Asani is allowed to live. Asani himself is a very blunt and stoic lion, very rarely expressing much emotion, typically always wearing a bored or blank expression. His behavior does unnerve the pride but Asani could care less and grows up with little issues. Its not until his mane is growing in, that things take a turn, when the original heir, Simba, returns for his throne. Scar is killed during the event, while Zira and all her followers are banished. Asani could care less though, again not showing much emotion over things. Zira is constantly mad at him for not "showing more sorrow" over what happened, but Asani bluntly points out it was Scar's fault for not surrendering when he had the chance. This bitters the relationship between the two. One night.. Asani, along with his brother Bakari and sister Rukiya, slip off into the night as they grow tired of their mother's obsession with Scar. Since then, no one knows where these three had vanished off to. Their departure, however, is the final straw that broke the camel's back, driving Zira into further insanity..."

And here's Asani, the first child of Zira! His father is the "Strange Lion", who intended to use Asani as a final act of revenge against Scar, but only meets his end at the paws of the hyenas. Asani is allowed to live, only for Scar to rub salt into the deceased father's wounds by proclaiming he would be known as the father of the cub. Asani's cubhood is nothing special, he just grew up to be a rather blunt, stoic and typically emotionless kind of guy. However, he isn't malicious or heartless like his parents, he just like a Honey Badger and just doesn't give a f*** about their revenge plans. Thus, once he comes to live in the Outlands, his already strained relationship with his mother worsens, to where he decides enough is enough and slips away one night with two other siblings who also grow tired of Zira's descend into madness. Unknowingly causing her madness to worsen by leaving her, thus she turns more cruel and vicious toward her remaining cubs, likely to ensure they don't leave her either...
