Noticeable feature(s): She leans toward her mother, Kiara, in colors, while her eyes are from her parental great grandmother, Sarabi. She has a tuft on her head, from cub to adult, and has three spots under her eyes, as a recessive gene from Simba's side of the family, through an unknown brother. She also has her underside not reach under her chin, unlike most.

"Akina is the first born daughter of Kovu and Kiara, and their second child. While she is indeed the oldest out of herself, Amira and Afua, she doesn't become the leader of the Lion Guard, instead, it goes to Afua, the youngest. She doesn't mind, however, as she didn't like the idea of fighting all the time anyways. For the most part, Akina has a pretty average cubhood, helping with keeping an eye on her mute sister and giving Aaron someone to confide in. It wasn't until she was a young adult, that her life took a turn. She meets a rogue male, named Damu. She falls for him almost instantly, finding him quite attractive and charming. What she doesn't know, is Damu's dark intentions. He charms her, making her believe he means well and wants to settle with her. However, after a few weeks of bonding and quality time.. Akina believes he will fit in the pride and introduces him. Although hesitant at first, Kiara and Kovu accept Damu, especially when the young male seemed interested in helping Aaron when he would become King. However, Damu soon shows his true colors as he tries to kill Aaron one day when the male is by himself, in an attempt to take his place as King and with Akina as his Queen. Its only thanks to his aunt Vitani's teachings with fighting, does Aaron manage to survive the assault and also defeat Damu. The pride, having heard the fight, come just as Damu collapses in defeat. Aaron reveals what happened and in a fit of rage, Kovu banishes Damu and tells him to never return, under the threat of death. Damu leaves and Akina feels heartbroken, over the fact she had nearly gotten her brother killed. She isolates herself from her family in shame.. But also, she had intended to tell Damu she was pregnant with their cub. Now feeling uncertain if she even wants to keep the cub. She gives birth to a female cub a few weeks later. When she looks as her newborn daughter.. She instantly felt a connection and deciding to keep her, thus naming her Tisha. However, worried for her and her daughter's safety to the incident with Damu, Akina takes her daughter and flees, deciding this would be for the best for them. She doesn't know she only brings heartbreak to her family, who had been concerned for her. Some time later, living as a rogue, Akina and her young daughter, Tisha, decide to return to the Pridelands as Akina struggles to keep them fed. She is welcomed back with open arms by her family, especially her brother Aaron. While she explains Tisha is her and Damu's child, the family still accept the little girl with open arms! Akina resigns herself to Lead Huntress, feeling she was not worthy of being a Princess, which her parents eventually allow. Despite the rough experience, Akina still has her daughter and family, which she holds very dear, even to this day."

Talk about an interesting "love" story, eh? At least in the end, things worked out, after she runs away for a while 'cause ya know, nearly getting your brother killed would break anyone's heart me thinks. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy~ (I struggled with the title of this one, haha.. Still not satisfied but close enough. XD)
