Description
This is a view of a concept vehicle I developped in 2004 for exploration purposes. Is a one-man, diferential-steering machine with a prominent powerplant in the rear compartment.Related content

I like the shape of the cockpit. Also, is differential steering the same as tank steering?

Yes. With differential steering one can turn on the spot, like a tank. In this particular solution, an electric motor + reduction gears are enclosed in each wheel cube, so simple electric distribution control is enough to manage the movement of the vehicle.

Ah. I thought so. Are the wheel arms on a pivot of some kind? It has been my experience that differential steering can become difficult with long and narrow wheel bases- especially with large tires.

I like the design, very robust and industrial looking.

DUDE! That thing looks really sweet! I expecially like the fact that you modeled the bolts and the structural bars connecting the windows. I think that came out really nicely, especially with the texture!
