after shooting inside the car ...the only light available was overhead half hazy/half sun.
long lens and the d1x ... stripped the satch out with PS.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but your celebrity pictures capture them in such a normal way, away from all the glitz. I can't think of a way to phrase myself, but you make them more human.

I like how you can just see the safety pin she's wearing as an earring, I never really thought of her as the kind of girl to wear a safety pin; now I think of her all different. Not really, I've always like Cameron Diaz, I don't see how people can find her annoying or ugly...she isnβt any of those things. As you described her, she's very "real".
I also like how she sort of fades into the background, and the grain, who can't love grain?

i normally don't like cameron.... not because i know her and don't like her, but as an actress i have a hard time enjoying her presence infront of me.
BUT
i really like what you did here, she actually looks beautiful ... and tolerable.

i am amazed with your connections as well, you're a lucky guy to get to photograph celebrities, only because you can really hit us hard over here at DA because they are familiar faces that we wish we could get more familiar with...
also, let me tell you how much i enjoy looking at the pretty people contrasted with the homeless, etc.
i think that not only takes guts once people at DA expect to see only celebrities and pretty people in your gallery, you do it all really well, and you make the homless look beautiful, too.
you even made paris look halfway decent

I don't really like the darkened part of her left eye, kinda distracting. But it's understandable considering the lack of lighting in the area, still good though.
