My camera does that to red too. I find red, black and some blues don't photograph very well..

Yeah I too find those hard colors to photograph :c With me they barely show depth..well with fabric that is.

I try to enhance my photos to make the colors as close to the real thing as possible. I don't like doing that, but sometimes the color is way off from what it looks like in person.
I think the fabric you used makes me like the tails. They just look so good together.
