Based on the creepy urban legend that originated as a simple nursery rhyme...The Crooked Man
A demonic entity born from a crooked msn who took his own life that arrives on your doorstep, terrifying its victims at all times. Depicted as an abnormally lanky and disproportioned man in a red suit with a large hat with glasses that covers half his face, showing only a sharp tooth grin. The Crooked Man is stealthy, mischievous, sadistic and thrives off the fear and misery of those he stalks from the darkness.

The Crooked Man would actually be Robert Crenshaw, a notorious burglar who broke out of jail and has been on the lam since in my version of the mystery.
