Description More Cryptid Critters. Today is the letter M. Sure are a lot of cryptids that start with 'M', and I thought the M section was long in the Scottish telephone book....

...Anyway.

Mapinguari, a creature with red fur living in the Amazon rainforests. I have mixed the extinct Mylodon with aspects of the modern sloth.

Mbielu-mbielu-mbielu, described as a Stegosaur. As always I use 65 million years of evolution as an artistic licence to play around with the Dinosaur cryptids and desend into the more imaginative creatures found in older movies. The plates are random sizes and more similar to teeth, there is only one tale spike and the creature has a horn on it's nose which no Stergosaur species had.

Megarachne Dougli
Once again an invented cryptid although there is the Jba Fofi of Africa, I don't believe that term was used in the 1950's. If it was I may have to re-arrange the A - Z which is a bother. The name of this spider is after the miss classified Megarachne savini and the fictional Ted Douglas who will discover and name it.
